Wet Hair

At Nu-Vou we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their experience. We encourage clients to attend their appointments alone where possible, clients that need support when attending appointments are still welcomed. 

Skin Testing.

The safety of our client is paramount and for that reason we adhere to a safe colour policy. A skin test is required 24-48 hours prior to their first Hair colour service/Eyelash or Brow Tint and any Henna or Brow lamination treatment or if it's been longer than 4 months from their last appointment. We will not perform any of these services on under 16's expect temporary colour and ID will be asked to be shown if you look under 16.

Under 16's

We ensure that all treatments are safe and appropriate and that the individual wants to have the treatment or treatments. We require a written permission from a parent or guardian before going ahead with the following  treatments ; 

-Waxing (not intimate waxing)




A parent or guardian must be present during treatments provided to under 16's.

Cancelation Policy

Your appointments are very important to the Nu-Vou team, each appointment is reserved especially for you. At Nu-Vou we understand that circumstances may change and booking amendments may be necessary, therefore we respectfully request 24 hours notice for cancellations.

Please understand that when you forget to cancel your appointment within the 24 hour cancellation period we miss the opportunity to fill this time, therefore customers awaiting appointments miss the opportunity to receive our services. A 72 hour appointment reminder and a 24 hour reminder will be sent out via text message and or email as we understand that appointments may have been made in advance. Since appointments are made individually for you, a cancellation fee will apply with less than 24 hours notice. A 50% charge will apply. Ways to cancel via phone, email, social media message or online booking cancellation.
